She holds a bachelor’s degree from the Politecnico di Milano and a Master’s degree from
ESAD — Escola Superior de Artes e Design in Matosinhos, where she teaches subjects related
to spatial design and culture of dwelling.
Eleonora collaborates with esad—idea (ESAD’s Research Centre), and has been part
of the Porto Design Biennale team since its first edition, acting as curatorial assistant for the
programTerritório Itália ( exhibitions Frontiere – Expressões de Design Contemporâneo; Abitare
Itália – Ícones do Design Italiano; Riccardo Dalisi – Imperfeição Perfeita), and as coordinator
responsible for exhibition design projects.
For the fourth edition in 2025, under the theme Time is Present, Designing the Common,
she joins the main programme’s curatorial team as a local curator.
In her design practice, she explores the intersection and balance between moment and
process, creating meaningful temporary spatial experiences. Her work reflects an urgent design
awareness that seeks to understand materials and resources in relation to their methods of creation
and production.
